Run by Amy Shumway and Heidi Henrichs, this female-led company is dedicated to providing authentic needlepoint designs that honor the artistry of the craft and promote legitimacy within the industry. Inspired by the timeless heirlooms of the past, often lovingly passed down from our mothers, they seek to bridge generations by celebrating the tradition of needlepoint.
Amy and Heidi are passionate about bringing new needlepointers into the fold, ensuring the legacy of this cherished art form continues to flourish. Through their authentic designs, they connect the beauty of handmade treasures with a new generation eager to create heirlooms of their own.
Our Goal
We have found that there is limited licensed work within the needlepoint industry. The goal of Officially Needlepoint is to legitimize licensed works through hand painted needlepoint canvases and accessories for our boutique/art industry. While unauthorized works exist within the needlepoint world, we intend to offer our customers the opportunity to “stitch the real deal.” We will work with brands to protect and promote their artwork, logos, etc.
